These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of sarilaw.us and any related digital properties operated by Sari Law Firm, a California professional law corporation (“Sari Law,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Sari Law Firm. Reviewing the content, browsing pages, downloading materials, or submitting a contact form is not enough to create an engagement.

We form an attorney-client relationship only when:

1. We have reviewed your matter,
2. Completed a conflict-of-interest check, and
3. You and we have signed a written engagement letter.

Until all three of those steps are complete, you are not our client and we are not your lawyer.

Information Is Not Legal Advice

The Site contains general legal information for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney about your specific situation. Laws change frequently and apply differently to different facts. Do not act on, or refrain from acting on, anything you read here without first consulting an attorney about your specific circumstances.

If you have an urgent matter, an approaching statute of limitations, a hearing, a deadline to respond, contact our office or another attorney immediately rather than relying on Site content.

Submitting Information Through Forms

You may use our contact forms, case-evaluation form, or practice-specific questionnaires to share information with us. Sharing information through those forms:

• Does not create an attorney-client relationship (see above)
• Does not establish attorney-client privilege over the information shared, since no engagement exists yet
• Authorizes us to review the information solely to evaluate whether we can help with your matter

If you have already shared confidential information with an opposing party’s attorney, please do not repeat that information in our form before we run a conflict check. Provide a brief, general description first and let us complete intake before you send detail.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, video, illustrations, design, layout, and source code, is owned by Sari Law Firm or licensed to us, and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark law.

You may:

• View, save, and print individual pages for personal, non-commercial use
• Share a link to a page on social media or in correspondence
• Quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back to the Site

You may not:

• Reproduce significant portions of the Site for commercial use
• Modify or create derivative works
• Use Sari Law Firm trademarks (including our name, logo, and tagline) without our written permission
• Scrape, harvest, or copy the Site using automated tools without our written permission

Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (e.g., government resources, court forms, professional organizations, social media). We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sari Law Firm and its principals, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility. In any event, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) one hundred dollars ($100) and (b) the fees you have paid us for services in the prior twelve months. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sari Law Firm against any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sari Law Firm regarding your use of the Site, and supersede any prior agreements.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after the revision date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
